Life has a way of surprising us. When I packed my bags and moved to New York City to pursue higher education, little did I know that college had more in store for me than just classes. What an adventure!
It was at NYU where I met the love of my life - my husband, a charming Cape Town native. Through him, I fell in love not just with the man, but with the rich tapestry of South African culture.
During a trip to the Western Cape in 2022 (imagine rolling vineyards and breathtaking coastlines!)I stumbled upon a hidden gem. It was in a quaint boutique in Franschhoek's wine country that I discovered Cape Island's exquisite fragrances. One smell, and I was captivated! Cape Island’s scents became my personal time machine and a synonym for vacation and relaxation, transporting me back to Africa's stunning landscapes every time I lit a candle at home. I also could not get enough of the lotion, which kept my body and hands perfectly moisturized and velvety (not oily like some of the lotions I’ve used in the past). In fact, the ‘Clifton Beach’ hand cream has become a fixture in my purse ever since.
Now, I'm thrilled to bring a piece of this magic to you through BEALUSCIOUS as we've partnered with Cape Island to introduce their alluring South African creations to the US.
